I moved to the DC Metro area in 1979 when I was offered a job as a DoD Contractor.After seven years of working for others, I struck out on my own as a Consultant and sold that business in 1994. I was too young and ambitious to retire (okay, I tried and it proved to be a disaster). My sister suggested I get into real estate - and here I am.
I have 2 dogs Cowboy & Belle . I spend time training and trialling both dogs and also hunting them. Belle is a rescue dog from Above & Beyond English Setter Rescue and was gotten as a companion for Cowboy but has proved that she has great hunter instincts. Cowboy was purchased from Starlight Kennel to train as a hunter. He went to 'doggie boot camp' with Jeff Brooks of Brookwood Kennels.
From mid-May until the end of September I spend time relaxing on our boat. I also transport rescue dogs and operate "Camp Sandy" for dogs passing thru the area on their way to their forever homes.
I believe in conservation and and have the Green Designation from NAR.
